Father’s Day
I wish there were more songs honoring fathers. I’m realizing that by having a father who was not only present but also played an active role in my well-being, joy and success is a rare phenomenon these days.
Coming from a family in which the majority have fathers in their homes, I’ll admit that I took it for granted. I can only pray that the cycle continues.
Saying ‘Thank You’ isn’t enough to express my gratitude. If I’m somebody today, it’s because we never experienced a day without food, water, electricity, or shelter.
I saw your struggles and that is what motivated me to do well in school. Daddy, you are our protector, provider, and comedian.
As age is creeping up on us all, I want to say to you and all dads, Happy Father’s Day!

Di w ‘Mèsi’ pa ase pou eksprime rekonesans mwen. Si mwen la jodi a, se paske nou pa pat janm manke anyen, manje, dlo, elektrisite, oswa kote pou n dòmi. Si nou la jodi a se akòz tout sacrifis ou.
Lè mwen t ap grandi, mwen wè jan ou travay di pou nou e se sa ki te motive m pou m byen travay lekòl. Papa, ou se pwotektè nou, ou pran swen nou e ou se yon gwo komedyen tou.
Kòm laj ap monte sou tèt nou tout, mwen vle di ou ansanm ak tout lòt papa, Bòn fèt papa!
